1. MD/DNB Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized Medical college for filling up of the post on permanent basis.
2. If no suitable candidate is available, the posts will be filled up on contract basis from the candidates possessing DPM in the concerned subject of a recognized Medical College with 1 year teaching experience.

The age limit and age relaxation of age in respect of SC/ST and other backward classes and reservations classification and roaster system is as per the rules of State Govt. of Karnataka. The candidates claiming reservation as per roaster system should produce caste and income validity certificate as well the declaration form prescribed in the Rules of Govt. from time to time at the time of interview in original.

One set of attested Xerox copies of all documents and two passport size photos to be given and original documents to be produced for verification at the time interview.

If the eligible candidates belonging to the aforesaid categories are not available at the time of interview selection will be made from among the eligible candidates belonging to general merit/other categories.
Period of Probation: 2 years except in respect of appointment on contract basis.
Date of walk-in-interview: 01.09.2008 at 09.00 a.m. onwards
Venue: New Examination Hall, BMCRI.
How to apply: Filled in application in the prescribed proforma along with the attested copies of relevant documents should be submitted at the time of walk in interview itself.
