The BMC Alumni Association conducted a CME and workshop on “Updates in chronic pain management on 03/06/2023. The CME in the first half of the day had a key note address by Dr Lakshmi Vas, Director of Arshivad Pain Centre, Mumbai and Panel discussion moderated by Dr Rathna.N.Rao with eminent panelists like Dr P.K.Raju, Dr Ashok.M.L, Dr Mahendra Javali and Dr Maheshwarappa .Both the sessions focused on the current trends and latest updates on the management of chronic pain, and were well appreciated by the delegates .
The afternoon session had the live demonstration of interventional pain procedures done under ultrasound guidance by Dr Lakshmi Vas . The delegates also appreciated the relief of pain which was expressed by the patient.
The event was attended by over 150 delegates and was a huge success
